Receiving Inspection Checklist

A one-page checklist for inspecting a shipment of bacteriostatic water on arrival. Print it, complete one per shipment (or per lot), and file it with the certificate of analysis. Background for each check is in how to inspect a vial and lot traceability.

Flip-off cap present and seated on every vial
Crimp/ferrule flat and tight; no lift, tears or rotation
No cracks, chips or stress marks (rotate each vial; check neck)
Fill level uniform across the tray
Contents clear and colorless; no particles, fibers or haze (black and white backgrounds)
Label legible: product, preservative and concentration, volume, lot, expiration
All vials in tray carry the same lot number
